|  | We watched the parade this morning as it passed by 9th St in Coralville. In the early evening, we had a potluck picnic at the Kampfe residence in Iowa City. We then went back to Coralville for the late night fireworks at S.T. Morrison Park. |
| | The celebration this morning started off with a parade representing the different sectors of the community. The Coralville parade passed by 9th Street, less than a block away from our apartment.
At night, a fireworks display was held near the Coralville Recreation Center. The fireworks pictures below were captured using the night scene mode of the digital camera.
